Strange web-like substance covers field but luckily ‘no radiation content’ found

The internet has gone wild with speculation over what could be covering this field.
The clip shows a man stumbling across a grassy patch of land covered in a translucent white sheet.
In the video, which was posted to LiveLeak, the mystified man describes his findings: ‘There is a huge build-up around the lamppost.
‘Flowers totally covered. No radiation content. Totally mad.’
Some internet users claim it’s the handy work of Ermine Moth caterpillars, who create a giant web to cocoon their chosen feeding plants.
Others speculate that millions of tiny spiders know as Wolf spiders are responsible for the ghost grid of cobwebs.
One person even suggested it was morning dew frozen before it reached the ground.
It’s not the first time giant webs have baffled locals. In 2012 thousands of Australian homeowners were astonished by a huge spider web that covered everything in sight.
